Chip Cohen has been fiddling for audiences across the United States since the 1970s. After studying classical violin as a youth in Maryland, he traveled to the Great Smokey Mountains, where he became immersed in bluegrass and old-time fiddling. He has performed with such artists as the Holy Modal Rounders, the Johnson Mountain Boys, Ferlin Huskey, and Michelle Shocked.
Jim began studying piano at age 9 and played percussion in the school orchestra. He learned guitar and banjo in the 70s and played folk, country, and bluegrass. After a 20 year break from music Jim began playing with Rusty Still and after a couple years is anything but rusty. Don't forget to ask him about his acoustic instrument collection.
Jon toured with nationally with blues groups such as The Elvin Bishop Band and Clarence Gatemouth Brown playing pedal-steel, guitar, and saxophones. He currently plays locally with Rusty Still and the Texas Toasters. Jon also is regularly featured on the Front Porch Review radio show on KLCC FM.
Hilary has been playing upright bass and singing in bluegrass bands for the past six years. Her driving rhythm anchors the band and her vocals call the tunes. She also plays with Coast Fork Bluegrass Band.
